We’re passionate about developing our profession for all. To us, that looks like supporting pelvic health physios who are new to practice or who don’t have the support of a team around them. We are lucky to have a team to lean on, and we want to share everything we’ve learned with you, too.
We keep this page up to date with our current course offerings; please check back often or contact us for more information.
Pelvic Health Fundamentals
Practicing pelvic health physio in a clinic requires sooo much more than what you learn in school and your first internal courses. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, we designed this course for practicing pelvic health physios who need help with clinical application.
Recognizing that each physio has their own unique approach, we teach simple reasoning frameworks so you can confidently plug and play your learning right away when it comes to client presentations.
Course dates: To be announced (stay tuned!)
You’ll learn about:
Pregnancy, birth prep and postpartum: How to assess and treat pregnant clients, using evidence-based education to support them in optimizing birth outcomes, and treating through the immediate postpartum period.
Stress incontinence, overactive bladder, prolapse and basic bowel presentations: Understand the differential diagnosis for musculoskeletal and bio-psychosocial contributors to SUI, OAB, prolapse, and simple bowel issues. You'll leave with a roadmap for each condition, and practice working through how they can relate to each other.
Vulvo-vaginal pain: Understand how to assess and treat the contributing factors for vulvo-vaginal pain, including vulvodynia, vaginismus, and dyspareunia.
We want you to walk away confident, knowing:
What’s actually relevant (and not) for your internal pelvic assessment
Common whole body patterns that contribute to pelvic floor issues
Clarity and structure for clinical reasoning
How to create treatment plans to full recovery
