Our Story
Early in her career, Anniken Chadwick noticed a gap in the practice of pelvic health physio, which can be a difficult landscape for both clients and professionals to navigate. So she made it her mission to create the kind of clinic she wanted to work at:
one that provided a community of support for pelvic health physiotherapists and raised the quality of care for clients.
In 2020, The Cheerful Pelvis was born. Since then, we’ve provided exceptional pelvic health physiotherapy services for bodies of all kinds.
How We Work
We address root causes, not just symptoms. Often, this extends beyond the pelvis, so we partner with our clients and offer comprehensive assessments to make sure we understand the full picture. Whether it’s an acute challenge, an athletic goal, or a dream activity, we’re here to support you.
One thing that’s unique to Cheerful is our Match Me process. We take the time to thoughtfully match all new clients with a physio whose expertise, personality, and approach align with their needs—because having the right therapist is a big part of reaching the best outcome.
There’s no one right way in physio, and pelvic health is an evolving and complex field, so we feel strongly that we need to keep reflecting, learning and growing to be able to offer our best to you. Behind the scenes, our team collaborates and shares their knowledge through weekly in-services, structured mentorship, and regular peer-based learning.
